Having qualified as a primary school teacher in 2018, Verity worked in a range of primary schools in Sheffield before taking on the role of a high school teacher in a behavioural unit. Recently, she has undertaken a masters at Liverpool Hope University and is a qualified Dyslexia specialist teacher. This allows her to provide diagnostic assessments, exam access arrangements, and teach specialist dyslexia lessons. These are multisensory and highly individualised, enabling students to fulfil their potential and progress further in education.
Verity is an Associative Member of the British Dyslexia Association and holds a current BDA SpLD Assessment Practicing Certificate and the following qualifications: PG Cert SpLD; BA (Honours) Primary Education with QTS.
